History

The beginnings of the VW Wachal corporation date back to 1991, when the present company owner Ing. Viliam Wachal entered as a physical entity into the building market and began his business. From its conception to the present, the company has undergone a number of changes, which lead to a more effective management, a rise in the number of services offered and satisfying the needs of the customer.

In August 1995 the company changed its legal form and company name from a physical entity to a legal one under the name WACHAL s.r.o. Kromeriz. A fundamental change took place on 1.7.1999, when the company changed to its current form of VW WACHAL a.s.

Now

Currently the company is stable and has not only a promising construction programme in the local Czech market but also is active in the international construction market.

The company runs its own building supplies store and owns its own building equipment for full scale construction activities including transport, machinery for earthworks and for manipulation of materials.

To achieve a reduction of company expenses and consequently the price of construction while maintaining required quality levels WACHAL has a system of effective human resource and equipment management. The group employes enough qualified construction technicians and owns enough smaller machinery and building tools.

History

The history of WACHAL MORAVIA s.r.o., a member of WACHAL with its headquarters in Brno, dates back to 1991, when the building company PROGRESS HOUSE s.r.o. with headquarters on ul. Dukelských hrdinu 27 in Hodonin was founded. This company carried out residential and industrial buildings over the entire area of the former Czechoslovakia. After the creation of the separate Czech Republic the company was renamed to INVEST MORAVIA s.r.o. and kept most of its employees, equipment and management. In 1997 the company moved to Wilsonova 12, Hodonin.

In March 2001 VW Wachal a.s., Tylova 220/17 Kromeriz, became the majority owner of INVEST MORAVIA s.r.o. and the company was renamed to VW INVEST MORAVIA s.r.o. and the company added to WACHAL. The reason for this acquisition an attempt of WACHAL to get onto the construction market of the newly created Brno (South Moravian) District with the aim of providing customers with expert services, which the group offered in its existing markets (Zlin District and international).

The final change to the company name occurred in 2003 in connection with the uniformisation of company names of all companies of the WACHAL group so that it is clear where each group is based. The WACHAL group of companies carries out construction not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia but also in other countries. The WACHAL MORAVIA s.r.o. company operates only in the Czech Republic.

The activities of WACHAL MORAVIA s.r.o. are directed at complex constructions in keyready building and engineering construction and reconstructions and repairs. It completes these constructions in short deadlines and in high quality.

Procurement of investment, building permits, construction and approval are a part of the standard service for the customer.

WACHAL – Slovakia, s.r.o. based in Nitra was founded in 2000 as VW Invest, s.r.o. The reason for its creation was the aim of WACHAL to break onto the Slovakian construction market.

The name change from the former took place in 2003 as a part of the unification of business names of all WACHAL companies to enable clear identification of where each company unit is based. The WACHAL group of companies carries out construction not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia but also in other countries. The WACHAL SLOVAKIA s.r.o. company operates only in Slovakia.

Group structure of Wachal

The WACHAL group came into being and expanded gradually as a result of dynamic growth and the effort of providing the most complex services to the customer. Presently the whole group presents a base capital of 21 million CZK, it is present on the Slovak market and on the demanding market of Western Europe.
