Hospital in Kroměříž – the dialysis ward

The dialysis ward at the Hospital in Kroměříž has now obtained a new appearance. We achieved more modern and particularly more generous space by having reconstructed the original object and by annexing it with a new building. The project was divided into two stages and the patient now may find the use of the entire premises of the dialysis ward. The works had been planned not to interrupt the regular operations of the hospital, and to diminish the discomfort of patients.

We recently completed the project of the reconstruction of the dialysis center located in the southern part of the premises of the Hospital in Kroměříž. The first stage of the works focused on the annexing of a new building. The other stage then involved the construction works on the two-floor building N which had been used for dialysis. The main objective of the works was to centralize the dialysis workplace and include the patient area as well as medical staff facilities and utility area into only one space.

The annex houses the main dialysis room and cubicles with the necessary room for patients. Building N provides the space for medical staff, utility area, engine room, and storage rooms. The total capacity of the dialysis ward is now twelve beds and two chairs.

The reconstruction works as well as the annex were carried out within two phases. The operations of the dialysis center were thus interrupted only minimally.
