Municipal office in Ostrožská Nová Ves

The implementation was completed in 2017

Ostrožská Nová Ves boasts with a new area of its municipal office. In addition to changing the layout
of the municipal office and creating the local post office with a new supply ramp, the library with a
multipurpose hall had complemented the renovation works. The entire building of the post office
and the cinema was insulated during the reconstruction, and fitted with a new building envelope.
The lower part at the entrance was revived by a wooden cladding. The main entrance to the library
was enhanced with the awning. The façade is decorated with local traditional colors – blue, yellow
and red.
In the library, we created a space for children readers, which is right next to the adult section. There
is also a hall for lectures, exhibitions and other cultural events. Closing of the hall can be easily
achieved by movable partitions dividing the space. Part of the space is glazed and offers a view of the
courtyard where the renovated community garden is located. Besides the grassy areas, there are
deciduous trees lit by the ground lights in the garden.
